Wednesday 20.11.

Another really-really lazy day. After the english lesson (which didn't go so well...) I didn't feel like going anywhere. And it was a pretty good idea because it started to rain very hard. We went outside to watch the rain with Maija. And yeah, we were quite wet after that... Now I've just done my finnish homeworks and after eating some evening snack I'm going to sleep

My normal week

I apologize, our laptop's charger has been broken for 2 weeks, but now we finally got a new one!

So, what I've done last week:

Monday 11.11.

I woke up at 8 a.m. After eating breakfast we walked to the nearest mall, Big C. We went to the food market to buy some bread, yoghurt and juice. At one o'clock our english lesson started, and it took two hours. We have three lessons in a week: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. After that I did nothing.

Tuesday 12.11.

I stayed at home the whole day. I studied some math, took the sun and ate ice-cream. At evening we watched A Nightmare on Elm Street, it was great! And at night I chattered with my friends on Facebook. I miss them.

Wednesday 13.11.

Wednesday's movie was The Odd life of Timothy Green. I loved it! I think the boy who acted Timothy was wonderful. At 9 p.m. I ate evening snack, and after that I went to bed to read a thriller book named Accidental tourist.

Thursday 14.11.

The yoga-lesson started at 5.30. p.m. After that we went to the Indian restaurant named Ali-Baba. We've been there a few times, and there's really good food. I love Indian food! I took garlic and onion naans. And of course, we watched a movie! This time it was The Call. The beginning was thrilling, but the end was little bit too much typical American.

Friday 15.11.

I was so tired! We went to the Animal Rescue to Chaweng. There were super cute cats and dogs! I took a lot of photos of them. :-D They didn't need help with those animals, but we'll go to the bigger Animal Rescue some day. From Chaweng we walked to Tesco Lotus (mall) to buy milkshakes and toasts. And still from Tesco to Fisherman's Village. There I ate sushi and a nutella pancake.

Saturday 16.11.

Maija was lazy and stayed at home, but we walked along the main road with mama. We were supposed to go to the beach, but it was a cloudy day. Mom bought a beautiful ring from the jewellery shop, and while we were walking back home, we found a wonderful café named the Café Amazon. I drank a chocolate frappe, that was really delicious.

Sunday 17.11.

Well, we went to the Café Amazon again with mom and Maija. I took a Mocha coffee frappe, but I switched it with mom 'cause I liked more her strawberry smoothie. Frappe is like a milkshake or smoothie

Greetings from Koh Samui!

First two weeks have been wonderful. The flight took 11 hours and everything went well. First we flew from Finland to Bangkok, and from Bangkok still to Koh Samui. I think time ran out fast on the plane, watching the movie named The Great Gatsby and reading my favourite book The Hobbit.

Koh Samui is a safe, little and beautiful place. We live in a suburb named Temple Gardens. There live five families with us. They’re from England, Russia, America and France. We have shared swimming pool and washing machine. And there are five dogs too!
Our house is very nice. On the first floor is a living room, a WC and a kitchen. Two bedrooms (and two toilets) are upstairs. We have a small backyard and terrace too.

From Temple Gardens is ten-minute walk to Fisherman’s Village. There you find a lot of shops, restaurants, pharmacies and the Bo phut Beach. On fridays there's a weekly market, and then Fisherman’s Village is full of music, people and booths on the streets.

I think Fisherman's Village is the best place in Koh Samui. There's a lovely people, delicious food and really good massages. And it's a quiet and peaceful place.

Bo phut Beach

Weather have been perfect! It’s almost 30-40 degrees every day. Now it should be a rainy season, but sun is shining most of the time. On sunny days we’ve usually taken the sun on the beach or yard, rainy days we’ve gone to shopping malls. We have shopped quite a lot, because dad’s not here…

Today we're going to the Tennis club and big supermarket called Tesco Lotus. So far so good!!
